Organizational vision
Beit Kobi organization was founded in the loving memory of Staff Sergeant Kobi Ichelbom, and operates in the spirit of the values in which Kobi believed in and implanted in the hearts of his soldiers and friends.
OUR VISION IS TO BECOME A LEADING, UNIQUE SOCIAL ORGANIZATION
In order to do so Beit Kobi establishes and promotes a wide range of activities, ideological and practical, to strengthen and reinforce the spirit of the IDF and all Israeli society. This is done by nurturing the values that were guidelines for Kobi - home and family, friendship, devotion to Israel and the IDF which he loved and valued.
Our goals are:
To become a national example in assisting and caring for lone soldiers, by way of:
- Granting a home and family for lone soldiers.
- Training and aiding the soldiers adopting families.
- Aiding and influencing autorities and organizations to establish and operate centers and support systems for lone soldiers all over the country.
To become a national training center for value-related workshops for youth and for commanders and officers in the IDF:
- The workshops for commanders will become part of the IDF training program for officers of all units.
- The workshops shall be based on the values of human dignity as well as national dignity, in order to help produce better generations of youth, commanders, and citizens.
- Empowering and strengthening our volunteer alignment, and promoting the value of volunteering in Israeli society.
