Volunteers

Beit Kobi  as a volunteers association

Beit Kobi has set a goal to encourage social responsibility in the civil and business community for lone soldiers in the IDF.
Since its establishment the organization has strictly maintained an orderly and professional alignment of active volunteers who have contributed and shown their devotion for lone soldiers.
The organization’s volunteers are accompanied and trained by a professional staff and are absorbed into voluntary courses of action according to their capabilities, desires and the needs of the organization.
Beit Kobi’s widespread activities contain diverse channels for volunteerism:

1. Home and family
2. Annual Support Program for the Givati Brigade Lone Soldiers
3. Special events

Training
All volunteers undergo a training process that assigns them to their activities.
Training is carried out by Beit Kobi’s professional staff consisting of social workers, educators and more.
What makes volunteerism at Beit Kobi Special?
As an accompanying family unit in the Home and Family project, the uniqueness of volunteerism at Beit Kobi derives from the quality connection with the lone soldier. The sense of satisfaction and giving that characterizes volunteering of this sort is most significant. “The privilege to attend to a Beit Kobi soldier” is often heard at Beit Kobi. An indicator of this feeling is expressed by the will of families to continue to attend to more soldiers. The feelings shown on the faces of volunteers and soldiers are recognizable before every meeting between them. That the volunteer staff is permanent presents an opportunity for a continuous connection.

Saluting the Volunteers
The organization’s high esteem for its volunteers is expressed by its manner of appreciation and enrichment activities for the benefit of the volunteers. Volunteer evenings, lectures and other activities are an integral part of the life of the organization. Veteran and new volunteers work side by side on different projects and share unique feelings and a sense of belonging. The volunteer’s mark of distinction is granted annually to Beit Kobi’s outstanding volunteer in different categories.
These boys belong to us all.
Come share in the activities for the benefit of lone soldiers.
