Beit Kobis' Permanent Home
The demand for the organization’s services is growing by the day. Beit Kobi received a building lot on 25-year lease from the Givataim Municipality for the establishment of a permanent Home.
Construction began in December 2007 and concluded May 2008.
At the beginning of the month of June (2008) Beit Kobi held a festive opening night in the presence of the Defense Minister; Mr. Ehud Barak and other personalities.
The new building includes 2 new apartment units for lone soldiers alongside an auditorium seating 100 people for use of the workshops, an additional classroom and offices.
This new home will give us the facilities to become both a leading organization in assisting and caring for lone soldiers, and a national training center for value-related workshops for youth and for commanders and officers in the IDF.
The main donors for the permanent home include among others: The Legacy Foundation, The Arison Foundation, The Friendship Foundation, Club 1000 (donors from England), an anonymous donor and private donations from Israel and abroad.
