The close partnership that prevails between the IDF and Beit Kobi derives first and foremost from the importance attached to the IDF by Kobi, O.B.M. The legacy that Kobi left as a person and commander with his subordinates and friends in the service paved the way for a partnership between the organization and the Givati Brigade in particular and the IDF as a whole.
With the passage of time, with understanding and recognition for the unique action taken by the organization for the benefit of lone soldiers, the IDF signed a legal binding document with Beit Kobi.
The two sides desire not just to preserve the existing cooperation between them but to enlarge and broaden the framework of the organization’s general activities relating to lone soldiers and to initiate additional activities that will assist and contribute to lone soldiers and the training of IDF soldiers.
