The Beit Kobi Fund for lone soldiers(does not operate in 2009)
The Beit Kobi fund for Lone Soldiers provides a response for the urgent needs which are brought up by Lone Soldiers of all units in the IDF (5,300 soldiers).This assistance includes among other things: providing clothes, furniture (beds and closets), electrical appliances and financial assistance in emergency cases/special circumstances and more.
The project is conducted by the department for Human Resources of the IDF and is carried out by Beit Kobi. The uniqueness of this project lies in the joint administration of these requests, and in the professional criteria in approving them.
Once a soldiers' request is received and approved, Beit Kobi sees to contacting the soldier personally and purchasing the requested product. Another great advantage is the quick response and the conveying of the products directly to the soldiers’ home.

- To enable the lone soldier to carry out a quality, worry-free service.
- Provide an appropriate professional solution to meet the work principles of the IDF’s Human Resources Branch.
