Hapoel Givatayim
Cooperation between the Hapoel Givatayim basketball team and the Beit Kobi non-profit organization derives from Kobi’s background as a player on the team during his youth.
The project is intended to encourage sports and support young athletes without financial means, for whom sports is an essential part of their self-definition.
The Hapoel Givatayim youth team is part of Beit Kobi’s volunteer operation, and meets some of the values that the organization seeks to pass on – spiritual values, honor and volunteerism, and in this manner contributes to the advancement of the spirit of volunteerism and contributions to the youth community.

Goals
Honor the memory of Kobi Ichelbom and the values that were his guiding lights: Home and family, friendship and love of the land.
Establish a team with a Beit Kobi orientation that is involved with the activities of the organization for lone soldiers.
Encourage youth to launch social initiatives.
Promote and assist teenagers and youth who love sports and wish to participate in team workouts and develop as athletes.
