The Home and Family Project was developed in close cooperation with the IDF, the Givati Brigade and other professional agencies.
The purpose of this project is to provide a home and a supporting family for lone soldiers throughout their entire military service.
Beit Kobi's 4 residential units accommodate 2-3 lone soldiers each. These soldiers enjoy living in a private residential unit. Each soldier is adopted by volunteers who are trained by the organization to be his adoptive family.
In order to provide the participating families with tools, Beit Kobi developed unique training workshops which are attended by all the volunteer families at Beit Kobi. The standards and workshop structure were developed by Beit Kobi professionals, among them social workers, educators, and more.
